Keto Hot Chocolate
Posted by Erin Pyers onWarm up this season with a rich, indulgent keto hot chocolate that's perfectly complemented by the crunch of The Monday Food Co Granola. This cozy drink is easy to make and will satisfy your sweet tooth without breaking your keto lifestyle.
Note: For our vegan customers you could swap out the dairy cream to use a plant based cream, and for our nut free customers could swap out the almond milk for another plant based mylk.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any keto-friendly milk)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 50g The Little Zebra Keto Chocolate, chopped (Hint: Try the Chai Supreme Dark Chocolate for some added flavour)
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 tablespoons erythritol or your preferred keto sweetener
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
- 2 tablespoons The Monday Food Co Keto Granola (choose your favourite)
- Whipped cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions:

Prepare the Hot Chocolate: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the almond milk and heavy cream. Heat until steaming, but do not boil. Add the chopped The Little Zebra Keto Chocolate and whisk until melted and smooth. Whisk in the cocoa powder, erythritol, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until fully combined and the mixture is smooth.

Serve: Pour the hot chocolate into a mug. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, if using. Sprinkle with The Monday Food Co Granola for a delightful crunch.
